Obscure 60's/70's Song
I am seeking the name and artist of a song that probably was released in the late 60's or early 70's.
I don't remember if it was ever that popular, and I don't have a lot of information to provide, so I'm hoping that someone on the forum can recognize it from what little I do
remember.
The artist is male, and the song is a slow ballad.
What little I remember about the lyrics is from the chorus which, I believe goes something like
this:
Who knows ... the wind.
Who knows ... my love.
There is yet one more piece of obscure information I
can provide.
My roommate at the time (whom I have completely lost touch with) purchased a compilation LP specifically for this song.
And, while I don't remember
the name of the LP, I do vaguely remember being surprised that Michael Nesmith (who I only knew from Monkees fame) was another artist featured on the same LP.
I have attempted to find the song by researching the LP's Michael Nesmith was featured on, with no
success.
I suspect the only chance I am going to have with this is if someone on the forum is familiar with the LP.
Thanks in advance for any further information
anyone can provide!
